Luminair 3 DMX Control App

Luminair 3 has become a defacto industry standard application to control DMX light fixtures via tablets.

It can control simple DMX dimmers or complex RGBWA light fixtures.

It has profiles for most current RGB fixtures such as ARRI SkyPanels, Kino Flo FreeStyle, Asteras and more.

It can be paired with a Wireless DMX hub such as the Cintenna AKS+ to provide seamless DMX controls.

Luminair 3 is a professional-grade lighting control platform that gives lighting designers, filmmakers and TV professionals, musicians, artists and other enthusiasts advanced wireless control over DMX-enabled lights and other equipment, as well as the next generation of “Smart” lights like Philips Hue.

Scenes

Easily create looks and switch between them at the tap of a button. Multiple scene choices include Basic, Merge, Sequences, and Input Snapshots.

DMX FX Engine

Use the new Oscillator to automatically generate powerful FX. Different shape choices allow everything from gentle fades to on/off steps and more.

Draw Movements

Create new movements from templates like circle and figure 8, or draw your own path. Fine-tune using pinch and rotate gestures.

Multi-touch Gestures

Multi-touch faders, two finger swipes to switch scenes, tap and hold to bump, and more gestures are used to improve user experience.

DMX Fixture Profiles

Choose a profile from Luminair’s library of over 500 fixtures, or use the intuitive fixture profile creation tool in the add menu to create your own.

Sequences

Build sequences from the scenes you’ve created. Play back the sequence either from a button alongside other scenes, or within Sequnces mode.

Sound Input / IAA

Use audio/microphone input or Inter-App audio directly from other IAA-capable apps to control sequence playback.

Tap Tempo

Tap to the beat with Luminair’s tempo playback control. Great for when you want a steady rythym triggering scene changes and fades.
